EU - Personal Data and Privacy


On Wednesday 12 March, Members of the European Parliament (MEPs) approved two key reports setting out their demands for stronger protection of personal data and privacy. One of the reports contains Parliament's changes to the proposed Data Protection Regulation. The other outlines the findings of MEPs' investigation into the NSA scandal and sets out recommendations for further changes to the legal framework governing international data flows. Both reports were approved by an overwhelming majority.
